Start with a stable identity
Two flats in the same building can easily get confused in correspondence. Give every property a short, lasting reference and use it in your working files. An address alone is not always enough: floor, unit number and description may be necessary. Do not change this reference whenever a tenant changes. The property remains the same while occupancy evolves. This distinction also makes handing a file to another person easier.
Explore the property section
Proprioo’s property section is designed as a starting point for information about a home. In the demo, take an example and look for what you would naturally expect: identification, occupancy and matters to follow up. Note missing information before concluding everything is centralised. In your own method, always separate the building’s characteristics from information about the contract or the person occupying it.

File documents without multiplying copies
Effective filing has one reference version per document and an understandable name. For example: property reference, document type and date. Keep signed originals in your usual document storage with an independent backup. An annotated working copy should not replace an original. When a document changes, clearly identify the current version. This avoids sending an old certificate or incomplete condition report simply out of habit.
Keep the file alive after work
After a repair, add the date, contractor, observed problem and supporting document to your reference file. A few factual lines are worth more than a vague recollection six months later. Distinguish the request, accepted quotation, completed work and paid invoice. These are four separate stages. Work reported as complete may still need checking or have an outstanding reservation. Your filing should make this understandable without rereading every message.
Carry forward a ComparImmo analysis
After buying, revisit unresolved points in your analysis: documents to obtain, technical items to check and estimates to confirm. Turn them into management actions. This is a manual transfer, not an automatic connection between services. Use fictional data when testing Proprioo: its public demo stores changes locally in the browser. Check that a synchronised service is available before placing a real property file there.
